Another alternative, successful at Manzanita Village of Prescott, was having the common house first -- before members moved in. It became a gathering place for people who would soon be living in the Village; indeed, communication with those yet to live here is still an important feature of our common house. So, building the common house BEFORE complete move-in is a strong recommendation from us here.
