Roger from Pathways asked about dissolving the development corporation. If you have any money left over, you may want to get with your lawyer on some resolution about its use. The concern is that if you just hand it over to your condo association, any trail of liability may travel with the money. We wrote up a short doc that said, essentially, we are contracting with the condo association to spend these moneys for us for these purposes (and we listed a bunch of development tasks that would more than use up the money) & then we dissolved (and had a party, or at least a loud cheer and brownies). -Jim, New View (Acton MA) (Winter approacheth, so we are thinking about new ways of dealing with our icy steep sidewalks before the ice comes again. Trying out hiring a bobcat (& a person who knows how to use it) Considering the merits of various sorts of snow melt substances, thinking about the health of our dogs, grass, and ankles. Buying containers for stashes of sand/ice mix. Buying spreaders for throwing mixture around, etc. Brrrrr) _______________________________________________ Cohousing-L mailing list Cohousing-L [at] cohousing.org Unsubscribe and other info: http://www.communityforum.net/mailman/listinfo/cohousing-l
