Call for articles: What Do Children Learn in Community?Communities magazine <http://fic.ic.org/cmag/> is seeking articles, poems, photographs, art, etc. for the Spring Issue on the topic of:
"What Do Children Learn in Community?"
+ What unique opportunities does community living offer children for
learning social, practical, and intellectual skills?
+ Are intentional communities holistic "schools of life" for
community children?
+ Does growing up in community make for richer, stronger, more
balanced human beings?
+ What about community schools, or homeschooling co-ops organized by parents?To submit an article or suggest what might be a good article and who might write one, contact: Diana Christian <communities [at] ic.org> by Dec 7th to share your idea and get the Writers Guidelines. Article drafts will be due Jan 1, 2002.
