SOme advice to your forming community. Don't spend a lot of time on issues like TV until you have lived together for awhile. It's a huge waster of time because no matter how much you read about community, the experience of the reality is very different and you will just end up redoing many decisions based on the reality. You might want to make a list of all the issues that could come up, then shelve this until they actually do. Leave as many options open to the future. Forming groups usually have substantial turnover, and so the people who have the strongest opinions may very well NOT be your neighbors anyway. So table as much of these kinds of things as you can until you actually live together. Its really dumb to make up policies of how to live together until you actually do.
