Our meetings are open to all residents and guests. Noisy people are asked to desist (or leave). We have a kids room next to the dining room (meeting room) with a window so parents can see what is happening. There are soft seats and a rug in back of the meeting room for parents with small children. We have not had issues about who can attend a meeting or who cannot but if the topic were sensitive, attendence would probably be discussed and decided on a case by case basis. My personal opinion is that having all ages present (or visible) is a good reminder that this is a living community, not a corporation board.
