The issues are: Which bulbs are energy efficient enough to justify the cost? Is bulb changing a maintenance team task, a safety team task, or a rotating "everyone takes a turn" task? Are the burned out bulbs a warranty issue? Should we pursue the manufacturer for defective bulbs before we remove them? There is no place to order the bulbs that will bill us for them and no one wants to put up the money and be reimbursed because the check co-signer is in Greece for 6 months. There is disagreement over which bulbs are burned out and which are the result of defective fixtures or wiring. It takes scaffolding to change the bulbs and we haven't decided whether we want to rent scaffolding or just buy our own. Storage for the scaffolding is still being determined since there are 20 bikes sill without permanent storage space. And when we get to the bikes issue, there is the kids room storage issue, the playground issue, the use of the green areas, pets, ................ Ultimately it comes down to the changing of the light bulbs will be decided as soon as we decide whether the holly tree on the north east corner should be replaced with a juniper.
