I've been wondering what part this book has played in helping or guiding

Given the book's hefty price (AUS$135 at Borders in Melbourne), can someone
give me some feedback on the online version?

I presume you mean someone comparing it with the book - else it begs the question why don't you go look at it! I thought it was quite an interesting site and it looked very comprehensive if the quote given here the other day was anything to go by - it was all there I think. But I've not seen the book. I should like to know what my colleagues in the Urban Design centre think of it, if anything.

The one thing I thought odd about it was the regional/metropolitan section. I have seen what I think are better rationales presented for urban topology design. It relies too much no a premise of a governance ideology (global government, local control sort of thing) that is so far off as to do some damage to the rest of its discussions, in my opinion.
