As I have said privately to others who have written to me, guns are made for
only one thing - killing. Ripping through flesh is what they are designed to
do, and if you don't want that happening in your house, you shouldn't have
one. People aren't banning household chemicals and meds because they serve
other useful purposes. Guns do not.

Medications should NOT be flushed down the toilet, as they end up in our
drinking water. If they are OTC and not expired, see if someone else can use
them. If not, put them in the original, tightly closed, container, and put
them in the trash.
