I don't know WIKI lists but I did try Topica lists because we were
considering changing when eGroups merged with YahooGroups. I finally had to
block all email from Topica because I got so much spam.

Yahoo does a very good job of stopping spam. In fact, my primary email
address just got banned from Yahoo because I was trying to combine two of
our lists into one and transferring a lot of archives. Sending more than a
certain number of messages in a certain period of time (the don't share this
info) gets you tagged as an autoresponder (spammer) and your account
disabled. It seems impossible to get this setting changed no matter how much
you explain and apologize.
