Much has been said about conservative and liberal, as if these were the only
choices. For my part, I don't see enough difference between the two leading
parties to dignify them with my vote. Both are heavily financed by chemical
manufacturers, drug companies, and military interests. With rare exceptions
I have been voting for 3rd parties since 1963. If enough people did this, we
could send a powerful message.

At that time, I was active in the local Democratic Party; but the leader
wanted me to lie to others to create a media demonstration based on false
premises.

Having worked in government schools and poverty programs in my career, I
know how the bureaucrats get most of the funds and recipients a pittance.
The world will be better as when people can keep more of their earnings and
create their own programs for living, especially in small communities. Anne
Jackson, Oak Creek Commons.
