Thanks to Mark Knight, Executive Director of Unitarian Universalist Affordable Housing Corporation and a founding member of Hundredfold Farm, a cohousing community in Pennsylvania, who allocated one of his affiliate's two designated workshop sessions to The Cohousing Network. I'll be the primary presenter, but I'd welcome participation by any other Unitarian cohousers who will be at General Assembly in June in Boston. I've titled the session Cohousing: What's So UU about It? I plan to show the Lehrer Report segment on cohousing broadcast last month, give a very short talk exploring values that are commmon to cohousers and Unitarians, and leave most of the session for comments and questions to be fielded by me and any other cohousers who are there.
I now have about 20 people on my UUs in cohousing mailing list, and I've heard from a couple of people how many UUs reside in their communities. Except for one reminder in early June, I don't intend to burden this cohousing listserve with anything further on this subject, but if you are not on already on my little UU list, and want to be, please let me know OFF LIST at joani [at] swansway.com, and I'll be in touch.
