Western Australia's http://www.pinakarri.org.au/ includes a person with a disability, who gets paid support by members of that community (hope I'm paraphrasing Robyn Williams correctly here). http://www.cohousing.org/resources/library/cfs.html explores the scope that cohousing may offer to people with chronic fatigue syndrome. Government agencies could be interested in subsidising adaptations to enable people with a disability to live in a cohousing development, as the trend is towards tagging funding to individual care. The proviso is that the money spent should demonstrate greater independence / a lesser need for paid staff. regards, Hans _______________________________________________ Cohousing-L mailing list Cohousing-L [at] cohousing.org Unsubscribe and other info: http://www.cohousing.org/cohousing-L
