I agree. I also think it would be very interesting for people in my
position who are just at the startup of a possible community to see what
the development process is from start to finish. There is a lot of
glossing over the real work that goes into it. I don't think it should
be so focused on the hard work that it scares people away, but rather
show that with hard work comes the great reward of living in community.
I'd just hate for someone to have nothing but "happy glow" stuff and
hear none of the rest of it. That will only make prospective members
question their involvement when it gets down to the real nitty gritty
work. ("Hey! I thought I was just going to have to wash my plate and
silverware and get free meals forever. What do you mean I have to argue
about what kind of dishwasher to buy and compromise with people about
kitchen design and then actually occasionally cook a meal and deal with
someone else's out-of-control kids.")

As a member of a developing cohousing group, CoHo in
Corvallis Oregon, I would like to see a new video that
could be used for presentations and promotional
events. Something that would give the flavor of
cohousing and show an assortment of projects without
going into too many details or negativity. I think
that $20 - $30 would be a good price.
