Hello all, I hope you all had a chance to take part in the Global Candlelight Vigil this evening. We decided to hold a vigil on our front lawn here at Cambridge Cohousing (MA) and had about 50 people attend, including several people from the neighborhood whom we met for the first time this evening. Most of our children, 2 through 17 years old, participated. For the most part, it was a silent vigil, very moving, which ended with some singing and then moved into the Common House for hot cocoa, cider, popcorn and cookies. Lots of photos were taken but I'm still waiting to see the best ones and will forward to the list, if appropriate. Yesterday about 15 of us stood on Mass. Ave. in Cambridge from 10am till 12n as part of the Stand for Peace which stretched from Lexington to Dorchester (about 15 miles). We got so much positive response from people driving by.
