Our community deals with this issue by having more than one listserv. We have one that is reserved solely for cohousing business -- meeting agendas, discussion about proposals, etc. -- and a separate one that is more "social", and appropriate for the notices about dance classes, movies, politics, etc. That way those of us who DON'T want tons more email can just not subscribe to the social list, and those who DO like to get those sorts of messages can. ********************************************************** Eris Weaver erisw [at] sonic.net SoCoHo http://www.sonic.net/~erisw/socoho.html Sonoma County, Northern California _______________________________________________ Cohousing-L mailing list Cohousing-L [at] cohousing.org Unsubscribe and other info: http://www.cohousing.org/cohousing-L
