Last fall when we were looking for a new tenant for a low-income unit, the qualifying income cutoffs were $20K for a single person or $22K for a two-person household. Since they are set at 80% of Salt Lake's median income, that puts Salt Lake's median for a single person at $25K, conderably below DC's (37% lower).
