Workshop and retreat-type stuff is planned by the Facilitation team.
Social events are simply sourced by anyone who wants to do so: someone
will say "Let's have a (Thanksgiving dinner/drum circle/etc). I'm willing
to do x and we'd need someone to do Y..."

Our kid team hasn't planned any kid events. I was just referring to
handling arrangements when we have a babysitter for a meeting. Actually,
people with kids are so busy with kids, it hasn't been a committee that
has done a whole lot. But we did just manage the acquisition of a tiny
stucco playhouse that someone in town wanted removed. Jacks, trailer, and
a dozen fellows strategizing with planks and pipes and all. Got the whole
thing up, driven over here and rolled bit by bit off the trailer onto the
waiting foundation. Oh, but the door goes on the downhill side! And they
somehow rotated this stone thing 180 degrees, a few degrees at a time.
That's another sort of RoseWind "event". Lunch followed.
