I believe Rob is responding to me.  Rob, from your original post, I did not
understand that you were trying to provide/encourage a broader perspective.
Now that you've clarified your original intent, I understand it and have no
problem with it.

My original intent was not to discourage you (or anyone) from
participating, but to reflect the interpretation I had of the original
message, and give you (or anyone) an opportunity to respond openly.  If
you'll recall, I stated in the message that I wasn't certain about that
interpretation.

Now that I've clarified my original intent, I hope there are no hard
feelings, and that we can both agree that it's often tough to communicate
exactly what we intend.  And then we can have a good laugh together and get
on with trying to figure each other out :-)
