I'm curious what the big East Coast cohousing event scheduled for Yom Kippur IS?

Mosaic has a general meeting on Sunday, and I was planning on checking sunset times to see if i needed to eat/leave early to make kol nidre services, if i'm going this year.

But, I'm wondering what else is scheduled that I'm missing?

...

Once upon a time, Mosaic had a general meeting on Easter - we simply didn't have anyone who needed to do anything else that afternoon, at that time.

Our scheduling works on how many people can make it, unless someone raises another reason why we should or shouldn't schedule something. I imagine that if we were to try and schedule some big important event that I really felt I wanted to go to on the High Holidays, and i raised the issue, the group would agree to not schedule it during that time. Same deal for Easter, these days. (Someone else objecting, obviously)

I missed a general meeting for Lammas - I didn't feel like the group ought to schedule around me for that one. (Yay, two sets of minority holidays to schedule around).

        - catya, musing out loud.
