I'd recommend renting one for a weekend. I did that for a personal party 5
months ago, invited the whole community and there hasn't been any
conversation about getting a hot tub since. There are a lot of reasons for
this but screaming, bouncing, out-of-control kids were the main problem. I
would guess you should plan on MANY conversations with parents about their
responsibility and kids' use before hand. Just my observation about my
situation.

plastic, portable (Hot Springs Spa, El Grande model)

6 not so friendly; 15 very friendly :-)
(The tub gets used at all different times so there's usually only 1, 2, or 3
people in there at a time.)

Maybe $200 - $300 per yr in electricity. Impossible to say for sure because
it's not separately metered.

Every month or two (about 500 gal).

Maybe $200 - $300 per yr (no service).

One person maybe an hour per week.
