Welcome back from summer travels and activities! I hope that it has been a time of adventure or rest, or perhaps a combination of the two. My family spent several weeks in tents, a cabin and an earthen lodge as we toured the western states. We had a wonderful time, but were all ready to return to our home at Muir Commons in Davis, Calif. In the most recent issue of Cohousing magazine, we introduced our new Community Partners program and included a link to our new strategic plan. In this issue I'd like to share some highlights of the plan, which offers a map of where we plan to go from July 2004 to June 2006. If you haven't yet done so, I encourage you to download the document so that you can view the full strategic plan for yourself. We're usually busily explaining what cohousing is not. These explanations don't hold a candle to the impact of showing friends, relatives and other visitors around our communities.
