I was naively our maintenance point person for awhile. Now someone else
does it. We hire people to come in and do many jobs, such as cleaning dryer
vents, repairing roofing or siding, resealing the parking lot. As our
community (40 units) aged, maintenance tasks were burning people out. Now
we are dealing with a backlog.

There is a lot of maintenance information available from the condominium
owners sites. Cohousing is different than condo living, true, but asphalt
is asphalt. Why should cohousers rebuild the wheel if they don't have to?
If you have a paved parking lot or roofs, you may find something at the
Community Associations Institute website:

If nothing else, check out their bookstore.
