Dear S & Others,

After some discussion [our spot used to be perfect for couples in cars to 
come & park, for kids to run.....     and for new folks to explore]
we put up a beautiful sign [our neighbor's gifted at this] saying:   this is 
now private property.
PLEASE RESPECT OUR PRIVACY'... may say something else...
That is the jist of it.   I wanted it to say something not too mean spirited 
sounding.

It's worked reasonably well .... reasonably, not 100%.....   so at some point 
someone here took it down... it may by now have gone back up.   

It's a thorny situation.   We've planned, but haven't yet, done a block party 
to connect with neighborhood , more than the   ones we know.   We too are in 
a very not-fancy area of Town.
