Kudos to Sonora Cohousing for the pet policy survey! It's extremely useful. Cat bells have not proven to be very effective in preventing cats from catching birds. A company in Eugene, Oregon, Cat Goods has a mouse pad like material that is cut to fit over the cats neck and does not restrict movement but does prevent catching birds.
