One of the biggest differences I see is the child friendly environment. This has not been the case in other regular condos with which I've had any experience.
Another is landscaping. The residents do fabulous garden work and regular condos do either a minimum or it looks very sterile.
What I would like that SOME condos have is an onsite manager. Small condos generally do not, no matter what kind they are. One of my research items is who large a place needs to be to afford even a part time onsite manager.
