I'm pleased to announce the kick-off of NICA ONLINE, a year-long technology project funded by NICA (the Northwest Intentional Communities Association). NICA ONLINE will help connect people interested in Intentional Community across the Northwest by: 1. creating a virtual community of NW communitarians 2. increasing NW Intentional Community web site traffic 3. improving NW Intentional Communities exposure 4. increasing NICA membership/support If you are interested in helping us use the internet to help connect NW Communitarians, check out the project's Vision Scope: http://www.ic.org/nica/onlineproject.htm. We seek additional members of the Board of Advisors. We are particularly interested in the involvement of NW Communitarians with experience creating web sites and using participatory technologies, e.g. wiki <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wiki> - see the Board of <http://www.ic.org/nica/boardofadvisors.htm> Advisors page for more information.
