It can be a very efficient use of marketing money if you use something like cafepress.com, as there is zero investment dollar. I can see them for community people to wear at the appropriate marketing shows, stall, booths and fairs but past that who is going to see them or want them unless you are already a cohousing person. The group I have joined in Austin Tx (look for the blue circle in a sea of red) did this and still has some from 4 years ago. http://www.austincohousing.org/ I think marketing money would be better spent elsewhere.
