I wonder whether there are any communities sharing a phone with unlimited long distance service? For about $20-25 per month plus the cost of high-speed Internet service, One can get an account from ATT Callvantage or Vonage with unlimited calling in the us and Canada. It is possible to sign up for a residential account if you do not need a commercial telephone listing. Anyone could use the line for long distance.
