Hi Craig,

Cohousing-L has been used in conjunction with conferences with modest
success. Of course conferences have been publicized on the list.

There have been some attempts to organize workshops etc at an upcoming
conference - I remember the 1997 conference (which had an open schedule -
workshops could be created at the conference tho most had pre-planning.)
We organized a workshop on Retrofit Cohousing via email. At the 1995
conference when Cohousing-L was only a couple years old, subscribers were
encouraged to wear ribbons to help us identify each other. At that one we
held a Internet use workshop - I dont recall how it got organized.

I (and maybe others) have posted reports from the conferences - search the
archives for "conference report 1997" ( without quotes) for an example of
daily reports during the conference.

I encourage such reports and organizing.
