to these questions. I recommend this book.

I also recommend this book. It makes you begin to notice where the messages are coming from about illness in old age. The statistics are very different from the image played on TV. The majority of people require extra care for only a few months or weeks before death. A very small percentage live in nursing homes.

The messages that everyone has to prepare for extraordinary care come from people selling things. Just like retirement is promoted as a value by retirement funds.
