The difference is that community agreed to have NO meetings, work days or whatever on that day. The closest Eno Commons comes to that is that we do not schedule meetings or community events on Western Christian/Jewish religious (i.e. Passover/Pesach, Easter) or secular holidays (i.e. Memorial Day weekend, Gay Pride Day weekend). Every year I confirm with the community that the list of dates I have are the holidays we wish to observe. This is to ensure that should someone one else moves in who follows a different faith (i.e. Islam), those important holidays are captured on my list. -Robert Heinich Eno Commons Durham, NC where SuperBowl Sunday is an important secular holiday. ----- Original Message ----- From: "David Heimann" <heimann [at] world.std.com> To: <cohousing-l [at] cohousing.org> Sent: Thursday, May 18, 2006 12:09 PM Subject: Re: [C-L]_ Slow Days > > Hi, > > Hmmmm ...
