Our community only markets via our website. We get a steady trickle of tourists, and when a home does come up for sale, it seems to move in a reasonable timeframe. Although our local house sale market is also blistering hot right now.
Rob, you were having problems a few years ago with houses that had been "over-built" (my term) with lot of expensive features that were not common in your area so the prices were too high to sell them. They were being rented.
Did that resolve itself? And in DC we sell at market rates very quickly. 3 hours is the record using Craig's List.
We also keep a list of interested people and email them as soon as a unit becomes available but the prices are very high now and I don't think the people on the list expected the prices.
