I just spotted this Southwest Airlines sale that has fares of $39  
from Pittsburgh/Philly (convenient for Jerseyites), $79 from New  
Orleans, $59 from Hartford (hey, all you western MA/Vermont/upstate  
NY cohousers) fares valid during the conference timeframe:

And also some great deals into Norfolk, VA, a 4.5 hour rental car  
drive from near the Beach, including $39 from Baltimore/Washington,  
$49 from many Florida airports:

Delta has some great deals for flights into Charlotte,NC, a 2-hour  
drive from the conference, worth it with California roundtrips as low  
as $230. I'm doing that, and doing some tourism before and after the  
conference.

And keep in mind that if you share an (air-conditioned) dorm room,  
it's just $25 per person per night.
Rates do go up Monday, so register today! I've registered, and it  
looks like quite an exciting line-up, for forming groups,  
professionals, and people living in community.
