Word to the wise... if placing a clothes line (or a ZECDD) in one's home, 
you are introducing a lot of moisture... a friend did this in the living 
space of her home and ended up having a HUGE mold problem that ruined most 
of her furniture.  Consider keeping it where the air can flow.

Hello,
        During the whole time I knew her, my mother used a clothes line
year round, despite her/our home being in the New York City area.  How did
she do it?  The clothes lines were in the basement.  That may be an answer
to those places whose neighbors object to outdoor clothes lines.
