Dear folks,

After 3 successful weekends so far in the northern California facilitator intensive series, we are coming up on weekend #4, and there are 3 slots remaining if you want to sign up. This workshop is being held:

SEPTEMBER 14-17

at SANTA ROSA CREEK COMMONS (Santa Rosa, CA)

SRCC is a limited equity co-op of 27 units (42 people) that's been going for more than 20 years.

The workshop starts Thursday evening and runs through Sunday optional dinner; full-time attendance is expected. The training time will focus on how to resolve conflicts both in meetings and one-on-one, plus other topics raised at previous workshops such as how to deal with "problem" participants. During the meeting session time with the community, our training group will be supporting SRCC in looking at issues such as their consensus decision-making process (including blocks and stand asides), board meeting content and function, and membership process.

For more info on the intensive series, please see http://treegroup.info/workshops/D3-series.html.

Weekend #5 of the series will be held January 18-21 at Yulupa Cohousing, also in Santa Rosa, CA.

If you'd like to sign up for either workshop, the registrar is Anastasia Nicole (of Yulupa Cohousing). Contact her at anastasia.nicole [at] sbcglobal.net or 415-716-9992 to enroll. These workshops are offered on a gift economy basis, where you decide for yourself what to pay (see http://treegroup.info/professional/D5-gifting.html ). Some individuals are receiving financial support from their home communities to attend. If you don't have friends in the Santa Rosa area to stay with, we can put you up at the host community or a neighboring one. And the weekend includes meals provided by the community.

Cheers,

--Tree
