Nina, I just attended an amazing workshop on elder cohousing  
presented by Abraham Paiss & Associates in Boulder, Colorado.  It  
included a bus tour of local cohousing communities, advice on  
developing a core group, site selection, marketing & membership,  
financing, caregiving issues, and presentations by members of Glacier  
Circle elder cohousing in California and Elderspirit in Virginia.  It  
was pricey, but worth every cent.  The next scheduled workshop will  
be April 12-15, 2007.

If you haven't already, I'd strongly recommend reading Chuck  
Durrett's "Senior Cohousing" to start out.  You can order it through  
your local bookstore or buy it at The Elder Cohousing Network  
website, Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, etc.
