Many thanks folks, for the interesting and thoughtful replies received so far. Carol - point taken, about discussion. Only one person has replied off-list, and she was supportive. And my state is AZ, where green burial does appear to be legal. Cher - no, it isn't a "Halloween Fools Day" question, we are genuinely groping for enlightenment on this one! Any more views?
