On August 1 (possibly earlier), a sunny basement apartment in Harmony
Village Cohousing will be available for rent -- ideally on a long-term
basis. HV is in Golden, Colorado, with great access to Boulder, Denver, and
the mountains -- skiing, hiking, hot springs, and so on.

Harmony is a 27-household neighborhood with southwestern architecture and 11
years of history. In that time period, only four houses have gone up for
sale. HV is a diverse, active, energetic community in a great setting -- see
www.harmonyvillage.org. Some renters have become permanent residents in the
community, and others return to visit often.

The apartment is a custom-designed, two-bedroom space, with arched doorways
and southwestern insets in the walls and extra large, landscaped window
wells. It stays cool in the summer and warm in the winter. It has highspeed
cable Internet and many dimmable light fixtures. It has its own bathroom and
kitchenette and the kitchen upstairs is shared. Rent is $550 a month,
utilities included.

The ideal renter is a non-smoking, active person without pets, interested in
learning about gardening, and working in the community garden. HV has 26
fruit trees, raspberries, grapes, strawberries, raised beds, perennial
flower beds, a labyrinth, and lots of quiet places.
