Grand River Intentional Communities, located in Kitchener-Waterloo,
Ontario, is holding a public information event on co-housing Saturday
Sept 22 2:30-4:40 pm in the Eby room of the Kitchener Public Library.

Our guest speaker will be Keith Shackelton. Keith is a member and one
of the builders of the retrofit co-housing community Terra Firma in
Ottawa. He has also visited several other communities in Canada that
have established or are in the process of forming co-housing
communities. His talk will cover what co-housing is and some of his
thoughts and experiences with co-housing.

The event will also include a discussion of ongoing co-housing
projects in the Kitchener-Waterloo region. Several members of GRIC
will be on hand to welcome newcomers and answer questions.

If you would like more information about or a PDF flyer for this
event, or more information about GRIC, please contact Heather
McDiarmid at 519-745-7242 or at heather_m [at] sca.uwaterloo.ca.
