We had the same discussion about accessibility and the right of handicapped people to install special doors, etc.
Laws allow people to do things and say they cannot unreasonably stopped from doing them, but that does not mean everyone can put satellite dishes on their front lawns or that handicapped people can just send in work crews into the common house to yank out doors and put in new ones.. They have to follow other zoning or covenant restrictions.
And many communities have many, many restrictions and fines to go along with them.
