We have found that over time former members slowly fall away, so the pattern
is, they show up more within the year they move than any time later.  So
even though more people have lived here now than currently live here, former
members are always warmly welcome, its good to see old friends.  We do have
a former member who spends her vacation time with us, she brings her kids
and it is good to have her around.

We have a pile of hangers on and friends of members who are around on a
regular basis, usually at dances or parties.  This group is familiar and
feels good to be with. It is often from this group that we fill rentals and
other vacancies, so for us, it is worth maintaining and encouraging these
connections.
