Hi -

I have lived with both a Water Furnace and a Florida Heat Pump unit and can say 
for sure that the former is significantly quieter than the latter.? It isn't 
even close.? The WF is quieter than a brand new fridge and it ramps on and off 
gradually.? The Florida is loud enough that folks need to raise their voices a 
little bit when it clicks on.
