Another issue is sliding doors. I think they sit in a metal track
instead of hanging from the door frame.
They make a grinding noise when they are opened. I hear the doors when I don't hear any other noises -- talking, television, walking, etc. I don't hear the person walking to the door, for example, even if it is very quiet in my apartment.
