Cohousing-L Mailing List: singles in cohousing

I just went to my first meeting of a cohousing group on Saturday; I was 
favorably impressed by much, but could not help but notice that there were a 
number of what appeared to be single women in the group, and no single men. I 
am really interested in cohousing but not sure that kind of gender inbalance 
would fit for me. I am interested in ideas for helping singles interested in 
cohousing to find each other.

I wish I'd been on the call this week. I think it's interesting that 
there are so many single women in cohousing and fewer single men and 
would be interested to know what single men have to say about being 
outnumbered. It's occurred to me that the Cohousing online magazine 
could consider running personal ads in Marketplace.
