Our only incentive to withdraw was that, if you didn't, you were required to keep up with 5% of our increasing unit prices. That is, to stay active a person had to put in additional money when new budgets were approved.

Personally, I was frustrated by households that did not choose to withdraw. In one case a household that would have liked someone to buy-out their household expressed their opinion about whether my household could buy-out a different household and I found myself feeling hurt and angry.

But honestly, I don't think it actually hurt our group, and my situation was resolved well.
