I am among the few that have seen the list of Main Program Presentation
proposals for 2008 National Conference - submitted by the March 15 deadline:

The breadth and depth of program coverage will be truly special. Not only is
there is something for everyone, but there will be some real "meaty topics"
(sorry veggies) being addressed this year by some incredible folks.

The challenge ahead for the Program Team is that there are more really fine
topics and presenters than there are slots available. That team, which I am
not involved with, has some difficult decisions ahead.

If you have not yet registered (and registrations are running ahead of what
I've seen in the past), the "early bird discount" ends in about 2 weeks, so
you have a little more time before the registration price goes up from $195
to $250.

BTW, if you're in the Boston area, check out the Boston Globe which will
have an article on Cohousing in the NE in tomorrow's (Monday, Mar 17)
Business section. The reporter was great and was much more sophisticated in
her questions than I've generally encountered. I'm really looking forward to
seeing it. I also really want to see how she covered the NE cohousing
communities, which I think is a really interesting region from a Coho point
of view... (of course, I'm pretty fond of the NW and the unique flavor we
continue to bring to the movement).
