Cohousing-L Mailing List: What is the purpose of this list?

In all the discussions about what is, or is not spam, it might be useful to
review the central purpose of why this list exists. I will give you my take,
and others I assume will add theirs.  My take is this list exists to support
people living in, joining, and creating cohousing communities.  

Thus under my definition of the purpose of the list, emails about rentals
within cohousing, properties available to cohousing, workshops about
cohousing, resources relevant to living and creating cohousing,  or
cohousing units for sale, are all reasonable and valid uses of the list. 

In all my time on this list I rarely ever have found off topic messages on
this list based on what I presume the list if for.
