The expense of construction technology has nothing to do with it. Proof: nobody can point to any lot within 10 miles (bike commute) of a population of 150,000 or more (jobs), that allows "evolving campground" incremental construction methods. There are none. Zero. Affordable housing has been explicitly banned in the US, anywhere and everywhere that is close to city jobs and mass transportation. Brian
