My very non-technical definition of an air-space condo is that a  
unit's residents own everything that the air inside their unit  
touches, e.g. the inside of all walls  and ceilings (e.g. paint,  
trim, paneling, tiling), flooring, all cabinets, appliances and  
fixtures.  Everything between walls and between floors, outside  
walls, etc. belong to the association and are designated variously as  
either common or limited common space.

We thought there might be some common language about chimneys that  
might apply to all air-space condos, but maybe it *is* condo  
specific.  Sigh!
