Communities & SITE TOUR of a cohousing community with Jack Wilbern •

Sat. August 2nd, 11:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Explore, learn, and share with others in a discussion led by Betsy
Morris, PhD, city planning consultant, and Research Director for the
Cohousing Association of the United States. This workshop will look at
examples of how people are consciously choosing to create age-focused,
senior friendly neighborhoods that support a high quality of life as
we grow older. The workshop will address the "cohousing" phenomenon
which is currently a hot housing niche. Attendees will also learn
about a new age-focused cohousing community forming in Clarksburg, MD.

Jack Wilbern, architect and developer of Blueberry Hill Cohousing in
Vienna, VA, and a partner in Cohousing Collaborative, LLC will lead a
site tour prior to the workshop. He will also be available to answer
questions about the new Clarksburg, MD site.
